A Must For All New pond Owners
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this product after I had constructed a fish pond in my garden. I wanted to test the water before I purchased fish to introduce into the pond and then to monitor the water quality from time to time thereafter.
Provided you read the instructions beforehand, the kit is very easy to use. You must take care to use only the correct amount of water and the correct amount of the various chemicals in order to check the water quality. All is easily explained. I found that it was easier to use a syringe to draw water from the pond to test, but this is not essential and a syringe is not supplied as part of the kit.
I won't go into great detail but basically you put pond water in a series of test tubes and add supplied chemicals to individual test tubes which change the colour of the pond water. By comparing the pond water colour with supplied charts you can then determine the pH of the water and the levels of ammonia, nitrates and phosphates in the pond. Very easy to use and gives you peace of mind when you introduce fish.
The cost might seem high at first, but you can use the kit over and over again. I will certainly purchase another when the chemicals in mine are used as it makes good sense to check the quality of your pond water on a regular basis.

User Friendly Mouse at a Good Price
I have two tower pcs and a laptop. I have just been upgrading all three and the mouse on one has been playing up for a few weeks, so I decided to replace it. After reading a number of reviews, I opted for the Logitec M185 wireless mouse and I am glad that I chose that option.
The mouse is very comfortable to use, is sensitive, but not too sensitive, so there is good control over its functionality. It has two buttons and a central wheel control all of which appear well engineered and produce accurate navigation and action on the screen. Overall the mouse is perfect for my use, which is home office with the very occasional game play.
I was surprised to see a Logitec mouse on sale for such a competitive price and I am so impressed with it that I am contemplating buying another to replace the mouse that I currently use on my main pc. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this product.

A Compact Easy To Use Alarm Clock
I bought this alarm clock to replace a similar Acctim model that had given me good service for years, but was damaged when dropped onto the floor. My original clock was robust, but fell to the floor too many times and the clock continued to work, but not the alarm.
I searched the Internet until I found a similar Acctim clock to the one that I wished to replace and the 12343 Auric fitted the bill. It is similar in shape and size to my existing clock and compact enought to fit on my small bedside table. It is large enough to see the time clearly yet small enough to take away on holiday.
It is very easy to set the time and alarm functions, has a clear to see face with an easy to use light feature, is accurate and maintains a long battery life. I am so glad that Acctim still make this type of clock and I highly reccommend it.
