Epic spanking guitar
I have never heard anything as twangy, spanky and direct as Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Orange is an epic example of their stuff as you are going to get. The songs are in-out, bang at you and there's no messing about getting off the starting blocks. Perhaps there's something a bit twitchy about the way the band attack their songs, like they are going to just blow up or something. All in all, brilliant stuff and there's not a lot out there to compare them to. I have to resort to words like spanking, elastic, bang-in-your-face, jumpy, twitchy, funky and a bit dirty and lecherous too.

Sounds okay, Fairly comfortable but metal parts corrode in sweat quickly.
Sound okay (I'm quite spoilt by other 'phones) and they do a fairly good job of keeping noise out. They are not 100% tight as well which is great because that way they don't plug your ears when they are full of sweat. However, what really lets them down is that they have tiny screws that after just a month of use are completely rusted. I mean, these are designed to be used for sports so they will come into contact with a lot of sweat. Sweat is salty water. Salt corrodes mild steel so it's a stupid decision not to use stainless for the screws. Bad, bad design from a top end company.

Amazing orchestral pop/rock masterpiece
Superficially sweet with lush orchestral songs, each a few minutes long. A surprise after the ground-breaking, avant garde work John Cale had done with The Velvet Underground - from the first listening it has warmth and generosity, immediately accessible. However, the darkness surfaces through the lyrics and the themes make repeated listening really rewarding.
