Easy to use and full of features
I've just upgraded from paint shop pro 5 to pro 8 ultimate and find the improvements great. It's always been easy to use but now has a some great extra features. The inbuilt tutorials are really helpful.

Outdated
I was going to a friends wedding. He had asked me to take his photo's. I'm not a professional so thought I'd get a book to help me. I found this a bit out dated, I was disappointed to find it didn't cover digital photography and had been written many years a go so was outdated in it's approach. It was easy to read and did provide a few ideas for different poses but not much else.

Not what you might think.
We have two dogs so pet hair is a constant problem. This promised to be a great answer, but unfortunately it didn't live up to it's advertising. First, pulling the (larger) brush from it's holder is really hard. So much so that my wife cannot pull it out. Also when pulling it out there is a tendency for the base to pull off before the brush pulls out.Then I found that it's performance at actually lifting pet hair from clothes is poor. The video shows one pass removes everything, when in real life 10 passes removes most, but certainly not all. several hairs still have to be pulled of by hand. The self cleaning works moderately well.
It's relatively cheap and I suppose you get what you pay for. I'm sure it will soon be pushed to the back of the draw where it will stay for years unused until I throw it out.
