Took item to local Ham Radio repair shop and he said the item had been opened previously and repairs had been poorly attempted. Was not stated in auction description this had been done. Will cost more to repair than it's worth new. Since it was sold "as is"... this is all that be done. Recommend being careful when dealing with this seller.
