'Been using 'em for years
SONY seems to be about the only one who makes an audio ("music") CD-R which is compatible to many stand-alone recorders. I can NOT remember getting a bad disc which would not work correctly and record properly. Sony RULES along those lines - in MY book, anyhow. Granted, CD's may be going the way of the cassette tape, but there ARE many good applications for still using them in today's world. If you own a stand-alone CD recorder, try 'em - you'll LIKE em!

'Still usin' it!
I had acquired one of these years back to use with my corded mouse. When I switched to a wireless, optical mouse, I cut off the "mouse pad" part and am still using the wrist rest. Anyone who is at the computer for any length of time (can we say "daily"?) needs to have some sort of support for their wrist while operating a mouse hour after hour. Otherwise, you're asking for trouble down the road. (Can we say "carpal tunnel"?)
I've been looking for just a "wrist support" and I'm of the opinion that I'd do best by just purchasing another one of these and cutting off the "mouse pad" portion. 'Seems as if there aren't too many supports of any kind offered for sale out there.
The wrist support section of this puppy has been working great for me all this time. Yeah, I'd recommend you getting one, too!

Big Bang for the Buck!
1 of 1 found this helpful Since I have an older computer with Windows-XP, I'm not completely sure of what the software included with this "LibreOffice 5.0" collection of programs will do on a more involved O.S. with a faster machine. I DO know that the program which works with the Microsoft Word documents ("LibreOffice Writer") has many features which were not on my original version of Word (2003). I also know that it takes a much longer amount of time for the application to come up on my old machine than what Word used to take (. . . 'probably because of a more intricate program with "LibreOffice 5.0," I would assume.) This is why I can't state how the software will function in a newer, faster computer.
I ordered the "Office Suite" solely for the "Word" application software. I also have a few PowerPoint files which the "LibreOffice Impress" software will work with. However, some of the controls are obviously different, as pressing the "Esc" key will close out the whole program instead of closing out just the full-screen show or presentation. ('Gotta read up more on this new software, I guess.)
All in all, what you're purchasing with this set of seven separate programs is MORE than a bargain. 'Just takes some time to get on to how McBURZZ has programmed the software. I'm thinking you'll be more than satisfied with it - especially if you have a newer model computer.
. . . . . . . and also especially for the giveaway price!
