Great value planing boat
Both myself and a mate of mine run these little boats with 15 hp outboards, his is a four stroke engine and mine a two. Both go really well and plane with 3 people, do about 22mph.we use ours with two of us and the dog plus bbq and gear and it's perfect. For the money I don't think they can be faulted . I had a smaller 2.8m boat and would say the extra height and space of the 3.3 is a must, not to mention tha additional buoyancy helps it plane faster. I suspect it would be fine with a 10 hp engine but the extra few ponies doesn't hurt. I read a review about it not being good in the sea, if it's calm it will be fine if it's rough it will be wet and slow, as would any 3.3m boat. For something that rolls up and fits in the car and can be launched with two people I think they are great. With a 15 hp you could even two kids in a Donought. We use ours in the sea off cornwall( when it's calm) , Loch Lomond and around the lakes.

Great value sturdy inflatable boat
This is my third inflatable boat, all of which have been best ways as I find them good value for money. First one was a 3 m round tail with a motor mount for a 2hp outboard which we used for a couple of years and then sold, great for pottering about when really calm but that was about it. Then a 2.8m caspian pro which we ran for 5 years with a 9.9hp, great for the 2 of us and the dog would plane ok but not in anything rough. Now we have the. 3.3m mirovia pro with a 15 hp outboard, I would genuinely describe this as the perfect package for coastal, loch and lakes. Fits in the car, easy to assemble and not too heavy to manoeuvre. On the water it planes at half throttle with a 30 stone load and protects you really well from spray and waves, feels really robust as well. I wouldn't be tempted to go smaller as I am able to go out now on days that I wouldn't have in the 2.8. I suspect the 3.3m would be fine with a 10hp outboard for 2 or 3 and would probably plane fine but it really fly,s with the 15 hp.
