Economical and durable.
I base my comments on the first of these that I bought. It served me daily for over four years, until I somehow lost it. Thats been something of a tragedy as it had been with me through so many amazing experiences, recording many personally important meetings.
This one I have just bought as a replacement. Without the prvious to make a direct comparison I cant be sure, but it seems a bit thicker (front to back) and although the display is the same the interface on it is much more clearly organised. I hope it will be as good as the one it replaces.
There was only one criticism I had of the previous example: I couldnt understand how to turn off the VOR, so on long recordings it would sometimes have missing moments where it had stopped automatically during quiet bits and missed the very next sound when it started. Perhaps with the more easily understandable interface on this one I wont have that issue.
