Versatile, a bit complicated, bigger than it looks, noisy.
Does everything I need from an oven. Takes a while to get used to the control panel, and there are some combination programmes I haven't tried yet. Some sort of instructions for these would help. Used as a Fan Oven the heating is uneven, mainly from the top and one side. Turning the item half way through helps. The display is clear and bright but the clock has to be reset after any power cut. The controls are not so easy to read without local lighting. Being used to a silent ordinary oven it seems noisy to me. Not as small as the pictures suggest.

A handy device
1 of 1 found this helpful It's hard to see from the pictures just what you are getting - this is a small ratchet wrench for 1/4" hex screwdriver bits, with an additional hex hole in the handle so it can be used as a screwdriver. It is small, so it would not be suitable for the biggest bits, but it does seem to be solidly made. I would carry it as part of a cycle tool kit, for example.
It is relatively expensive, but I haven't seen anything similar elsewhere.

It does everything I wanted, and gives better results than I expected.
I got this specific model because a friend was using one and getting good shots in situations where my much bigger (and older) camera was failing. I've been using it for a few weeks, mostly out of doors, and have had good results.
Even on maximum zoom the picture seems to come out sharp, with plenty of detail. I find things in the picture which I didn't notice at the time - its a bit like going back to the scene and looking again through binoculars.
The battery seems to last, and taking it out to recharge it does not mean you have to reset the clock. Charging is reasonably fast, but a spare battery would be useful sometimes.
The camera fits fairly well into a pocket, but gets a bit bulky once in a protective case (bought separately). However, I feel the case is necessary when scrambling around in the countryside.
I fitted an 8 gig SD memory card, just because I had one handy. 120 pictures at high resolution took up about 10% of it, so a card with 2 gig or so would be quite enough for most people. Using the supplied USB lead made a simple connection to my computer where the camera appeared as an external drive. Copying files was quick enough, although if I'd filled the memory it would have taken a while! Another (supplied) lead connects to AV devices using the same socket on the camera - note that this is not a USB socket even though it looks like one! Another lead is available to connect direct to some Panasonic televisions. I didn't have the lead, but the television had an SD socket in the back, so I was able to show off my pictures at the end of each day.
I have not explored the various modes of operation yet, as I have been getting good results using the automatic mode. The only poor results I got was once when it focussed on background grass rather than the foreground branch I was interested in, and a second time when I tried to get close up on maximum zoom, when it failed to focus. I'll read the handbook and see how to avoid those problems in future.
The viewing screen (there is no viewfinder) is usually good enough to frame up a picture, and you can switch off all the icons if they are getting in your way. The main problem I have with it is when facing into bright sunshine. Then the only thing I can see is a reflection of my face. I suppose that could be fixed if I carried an old fashioned photographers black cloth to drape over my head in order to see the view - going back a hundred years!
I have only used the video function by accident, and the results looked quite good - but the subject was boring!
When I bought this camera it was not the latest model, but I knew it would do what I needed. Compared to my previous one, it is several generations more advanced. It's hard to imagine needing any higher resolution, and for general use it is fine.
