It boils water but needs cleaning!
The kettle does the job, however being glass, it gets extremely hot. I am used to a plastic one and would often touch the side after boiling to decide if it is still warm enough for a coffee. Not thinking about the difference in fabrics, I touched this kettle and instantly learned my lesson! Not a problem, just a warning to others!
Being glass also means water marks. When the kettle boils, vapour obviously goes up inside the kettle and as it cools, water droplets fall back down, leaving dirty marks. Any limescale insode the kettle is very apparent too. Another tip - use filtered water to avoid the limescale.
Lights are pretty but I expected more. Not sure why really!
