I bought Taste of Home Holiday & Celebrations 2011 book. I like this annual series and was happy to locate a year I was missing. It has quality recipes.

Holiday accent plates add a festive feel
The Noritake Colorwave collection is wonderful -- high quality, interchangeable among plate shapes within a color, and various colors can be mixed/matched for different tablescapes. I like the holiday plates because they are an easy way to bring seasonal cheer to the table.

Lovely, well made holiday plates!
Recently I started collecting Noritake Colorwave dishes and bought "graphite (rim)" as my color. It was not long before I noticed all the beautiful pieces that coordinate, from holiday and floral accent plates plus different shapes! The possibilities to change your tablescape are numerous because the pieces mix and match so well. I bought several of these sets of 4 holiday plates in yellow, even though I do not own any other Colorwave pieces in yellow, because they are beautiful on their on and look striking with my other Colorwave pieces. I bought enough to use them at a holiday party!
