Everything you need in a cordless product.
I've always been anti battery products, as my experience has been that once the battery dies any replacement is unobtainable so the whole product is useless. And the whenever you want to use the tool, the battery is flat and takes ages too charge, and that the mains equivalent is more powerful and better build quality. BUT after using this Dewalt product for a day helping a friend with various wood and brick projects, I was cruel;y amazed at how well the Dewalt performed and the battery lasted all day, with no drop off in performance. I ordered one for myself, and now use it as my go-to drill/screrw driver. It c charges from flat in around 15 minutes and lasts for days on end. It's light and very robust, and will drill all thicknesses of wood, metal & brick/stone that I need. I'm a convert!

A great place for the post
Very well designed (I bought it because of the simple style and the fact water would not run in when opening the lid), and looks fantastic in Stainless (easy to clean and won't discolour or stain). The back panel is quite thin and only joined to the sides with a few rivets. This does mean there's a certain amount of give/flex in it when screwing to an uneven wall (we have sandstone exterior walls) but in flexing, some gaps do appear between the panels. This is not a problem as water cannot get in, but it was a bit alarming when I first noticed it. However the box is rigid and works as it should. There's great attention to detail (bumper pads so the lid doesn't slam) and it was well packed. The edges are slightly sharp and could have been treated but this is a minor point.
