Works, but...
I tested the lightning trigger setting indoors and it worked fine. Outdoors in the daylight, it was a different story, the trigger was fooled by the light and fired the camera continuously. After turning down the sensitivity to a point where it would fire all the time, it wasn't sensitive enough to pick up even bright flashes of lightning.
The motion sensor setting fires the camera continuously no matter what I do, even cover the sensor doesn't stop it.
Maybe I got a defective unit, I don't know, but I'll start saving for a higher end model.

Overlooked and awesome.
It may be an “older” model, but the A77ll is a feature rich camera that’ll hold its own against newer models.
I’m a photojournalist and I’ve shot hundreds of thousands of photos with the A77II. Me regrets!

Works like a charm
Grip fit my A77 MK I perfectly, not quite as polished as my genuine Sony grip, but seems to be decently built.
