Superb mid range DSLR for a small budget.
Do not be fooled by the relatively low megapixels. This camera is great. Even at 6.3 mp you can still get great results up to A3 and even A2 if you would accept slight moody graining. Bought one of these to temporaraly replace my 350D 8.0 mp but decided to stay with the 10D now. Slightly larger body than the 300/350/400 etc. but feels like a semi pro piece of kit. With the battery grip even looks like a full pro camera like the 1D etc. Easy to use. Can be obtained for £150 or less even with a lens and battery grip if you are lucky. The only downsides I have found is you cannot set it up to take B&W shots but this can be done on photoshop etc. and it will not take the Canon EFS lenses. Try an OM lens adaptor and use Zuiko lenses (manual focusing and manual aperture mode only). Would recommend you obtain an 'Armor Cover' to protect the camera. Happy shooting!

Great design
2 of 2 found this helpful It looks great. I use it in the caravan. It cooks great and is easily cleaned after each use. The build quality is good i.e. the control knobs are firm and not wobbly and are a delight to use. There is adequate room inside for four 100mm dia pies on two levels but you may need to switch levels part way through cooking.

DELIGHTED
Looks good. Power consumption on setting 2 is very low so I am delighted with the performance. I can hardly hear it running. Good storage compartments especially the freezer which has four drawers. The fridge area is more than adequate especially as I have used the old fridges crisping tubs in addition to the one provided. I would recommend this appliance.
