Not for chapati's
Purchased this with the intention of taking the toil out of using a rolling pin to make chapatis. This unit is no good for chapati. After pressing the lever, the dough is extremely thick and a diameter of just 3 inches - No good at all for chapati in my opinion.

Good traditional - what you expect
Son went on school trip to caves and gorges in Wales. The boots did perform well - Before buying these, I noticed almost identical boots on sale at 3 or 4 times the price - the only difference I could discern is that the more expensive ones had some designer's name printed on it or it bore the name of an expensive brand. Forget your ego and choose functionality over some rich persons name printed all over it.

Good casting, bad gasket & bolts
Cheaper (1/3rd) price of genuine article, sturdy casting but do not use the gasket which comes with it. Instead purchase a genuine gasket - you will find it to be thicker and more sturdy. Also, remove all the bolts and use the genuine bolts from your old rocker cover - because the bolts thst this unit comes with are cheap and not tapered at the end which makes lining up the rocker cover an absolute nightmare. The genuine bolts are tapered and self-locate.
