Noisy with an underpowered motor
You need to add water in order to be able to smooth the fruits (especially if these are not rippened). You should avoid to use the motor for more than a minute ( a smell similar to a failed electric motor starts to come out if the operational time is exceeded). The blades till now seem to work OK. The blender is a bit noisy but I belive this have to do with the underpowered motor (which is actually 300W MAX. Its real power is 250W as stated on the box/manual). If you try to crush ice sometimes the lead containing the blades unscrews from the container and you may have a small leak.

Does the job pretty well at reasonable cost
Well designed and qood quality tool which seems it will last long. Cuts wires very well. Reasonable cost!

Similar quality of job to more expensive tools
Comparable quality to more expensive similar bike chain tools. I got the newer version of the model.
