Covers really well with a nice chalky finish
1 of 1 found this helpful Like this paint manufacturer. They have been around for many years mainly for outdoor paint. Now they produce chalk finish paint for interior use.
i bought anthracite paint first. I am revamping a horrid old pine kitchen unit. I wanted a dark grey colour. The anthracite proved not dark enough for me so I then bought the graphite. Perfect dark grey colour. Just right for me.
I thoroughly cleaned the horrible pine wood with white vinegar and cream of tartar. Great natural cleaner for wood. A bit smelly to use but just open windows for a while. No toxic fumes just the smell. Works a treat to get off old dirt.
Have now painted the unit with just one coat of the graphite. Looks really good and the paint seems to have covered well. Don't think I need 2 coats. It dries matte and chalky. I will cover the unit with Ronseal clear matte varnish (maybe 2 coats of that) to seal the paint and make the unit more protected. Very pleased with myself and the paint!

Realistic looking barn owl which is beautifully modelled.
Beautifully modelled barn owl. Very finely detailed so that feathers seem real and claws grip the branch on which the owl sits. It is not too big and will look great on a post or stone pillar in the garden. If you are creative the owl could be painted to become more lifelike but I prefer to allow it to age outside naturally. I think this will make a great gift for someone - but perhaps buy 2 as you might want to keep one for yourself. Highly recommend this product. Don't usually post reviews but on this occasion I feel the owl deserves it. Well packaged for posting and it arrived undamaged.
