Great cleanser
Really impressed by this. The clever packaging makes it easy to dispense the right amount, and it's very economical in use. You don't even need one of those Japanese mesh "foamers" to get a good lather – it works just as well rubbed between your palms. I often have bad reactions to cleansers, but my skin seems happy with this, and it definitely removes every scrap of makeup. I liked it so much that I bought the version for dry skin as well. A real bargain. I'll be stocking up on it.

Excellent keyboard, especially for the price
I had difficulty finding a mechanical wireless RGB keyboard at any price, so I bought this knowing that at under £50 I wouldn't be upset if it turned out to be disappointing. But I was delighted with it. I actually like it better than the £150 mechanical wirleless keyboard I've been using. The compact layout's good, the backlight is bright, I rarely need to charge it despite using it all day, and the keys are as good as Cherry blues. It's soldily made all round. The only issue I have with it is that I'm using it with a Mac, and there's no Mac driver to customise the key colours. I tried the manual method of setting colours via the keys, but it didn't seem to work. But that's not enough for me to give it a lower rating – I wanted a vivid backlight to make it easy to see, not for gaming, so any customisation beyond the three options that are already programmed in would have been a bonus. Great little keyboard, and I'd recommend it to anybody.

Perfect pickles every time
The glorious aroma when I opened this pack told me it was worth every penny. The best way I can describe it is the malty fragrance of a brewery with savoury undertones. You can spend months preparing your own rice bran pickling bed and getting mediocre results (as I did) or just buy one made by the experts. This nukadoko might look expensive (the bags are very cheap in Japan) but when you do the maths, it's easily the best option and still works out far cheaper than buying ready‑made pickles, which are hard to find anyway. Rice bran is also hard to get here and costs a fortune, and it's normally not even the coarser milling that you really need. So with this ready‑made pack, you can make perfect pickles overnight. You keep the bag in the fridge and you only have to stir it up a couple of times a week. Looked after properly and topped up with fresh bran and salt from time to time, it could last years. I've decanted it into a deep rectangular food‑safe container simply for ease of handling. Tastiest pickles so far: baby cucumbers, small radishes, and button mushrooms. I love this thing so much that I bought a second pack just in case I mess up the first one. Highly recommended.
