First week & kitty loves it!
1 of 1 found this helpful After a recent trip to the vets, my fiance & I were told that it would be a good idea to brush our cats teeth. He had/has recently acquired a moderate case of bad breath & we, as with all pet lovers, we want to look after him as best we can. I had honestly never heard of brushing cats teeth, so did some research into which product on the market was the best. Virbac was highly recommended on a number of websites & I can understand why.
This kit is perfect for those who haven't brushed their pets teeth before as included are two different types of brushes (a 'normal' brush & a 'finger brush') the tube of toothpaste & an instruction booklet. Personally, I have used only one of these as our cat seemed to prefer the normal bristles, rather than the rubberised ones on the finger brush.
The instructions are very easy to follow, taking you through the process of introduction of the brush, introduction of the paste, how to help your cat feel most at ease while you carry out the brushing e.t.c.
The toothpaste itself must be good, as in the instruction book, it tells you to reward your cat after each stage of introduction. I tried this, he turned his nose up at his fave treat & kept licking the brush the paste was on! He actually really seems to enjoy the taste & the most difficult part of brushing so far is getting the paste onto his teeth before his tongue comes out & licks it off of the brush!
All in all, I love this product & more importantly, my pet loves this product. Thankyou!
