Great for Monitor/Cable TV
I wanted to use an additional monitor to watch cable TV from a converter box using HDMI. This was the perfect piece. I simply screwed the adapter onto the DVI cable from the monitor and plugged the HDMI cable from the back of the converter box into the adapter. Beautiful picture quality. No issues.

HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless Workgroup InkJet Printer
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this printer based on a Consumer Reports recommendation to add to my personal network. I had a 2nd printer that was older and could not download drivers for my son's Vista O.S. for it to operate. So my son was using my Canon i9100 photo printer (which operates on Vista) to print homework and was running the ink out of it. I got replacement ink for the i9100 that was not OEM and wound up replacing the print head for $90.00, but that a whole other story. I had to get another printer, so I chose this unit.
The price was very reasonable and far less than a store's price. It arrived very quickly. I set it up (wireless) and added the printer to all the computers. I had to download drivers from HP (painless) for the 64bit Vista O.S. on my son's computer and now all four computers (Vista 64bit, Vista 32bit and two XP's)use this printer for daily jobs. I eventually hard wired it (ethernet) to my router switch to eliminate any possible potential issues.
It's really a nice unit and fast. I printer a few 4x6 photos to check the quality and found that the printed photos meets/exceeds the quality of a local photo lab. It prints two-sided as well which may account for its' larger than normal footprint.
I have no complaints and had no issues. It looks nice too.
I would recommend this unit if you need a primary, second or third printer to add to an existing network.
It's great.

Some parts work for the 860 as well
Most of these parts are compatible with the Powerline 860 as well (spring, washers, rings and wiper). They fit perfectly. The abutment will not work in the 860 as the 860 abutment has threads that screw it into the trigger assembly.
