Completely adequate
This diary is similar to ones I purchased in previous years. I like the amount of space available each day as well as the space for notes at the end of the week. Also, this year for the first time, a purple diary was available so I chose that one and I really like that too. I like the week-to-view diaries available from the UK.

Good value but not what I hoped it would be
I have only purchased camphor blocks previously from a drug store in Canada. They were much different from these. They smelled more like camphor, which (to me) has a pleasant enough odor. I couldn't use these; they are now in a cupboard in the garage and I'm trying to think of how they can be used. I wanted to use them in the cabinet with my silver to keep it from tarnishing but it chokes me and makes all the other dishes stink so I had to get it out of there. I didn't want to say that it is not of good quality because it may be but it's not good camphor quality. It's not real.

Sturdy and a good size
This is the best diary that I can find now. I like the A4 size, have been using it for at least 30 years since I lived in the U.K. and could buy it from Boots. Theirs started the week on Sunday, which I prefer, but nobody does that any more. I guess we're trying to get away from a Judeo-Christian calendar. I like the space that is available to write each day and I like that the diary has a ribbon marker to keep my place. There is also good space for notes and the year planners at the front and back for quick and short reminders.
