BUYING A DVD/VCR COMBO
1 of 1 found this helpful You wont go far wrong buying a Toshiba unit but....
Make sure it is sold with a remote, if you have an old Toshiba remote it will probably work with this unit. If the unit is supplied without the instruction manual these are avaliable as a free download.
Remotes are sold for about £10 on ebay.
Job number one is to scan for freeview stations, otherwise it may appear your unit is not working properly.
With that done you will hopefully have years of trouble free use. If the picture shows white dots or lines when in use then clean the heads with a dvd head cleaner disk and for the cassette section a vcr cleaning cassette.
