Boring
I purchased the text for a graduate course I am taking and have found the contents to be dry and boring. It hasn't presented anything to me that wasn't already covered in a much more concise mannor in journals and other readings and does little to present real world applications. It mostly covers theories. It's a great text for academics but not for HR professionals looking for a text that helps them where the rubber meets the road.

Highly Recommend!
The book seemed like it may have been useful but the instructor didn't refer to it very often so I'm unable to comment on the content. This was the instructor's fault and I'm not convinced it was a reflection of the quality of the book.
