very bad tension problems

the tension is bad tried to adjust with the tension dial it makes no difference tried different thread /fabric /needle still no better on the box it states built-in tension with accurate setting . this machine cannot be used and is not fit for purpose and is not as advertised. i have tried everything the trouble shooter suggests and it is still not fit to use .
