Wonderful and a film to watch again and again.
On a recent visit to Ireland, I was fortunate enough to walk on the beach, Inch Beach, where Ryan's Daughter was made. It was lovely to watch this delightful and innocent film whilst recognising the place it was filmed. I believe the role played by John Mills was extremely hard to portrait and was John's best. Wonderful.
