Tells it all
Anyone who is interested in medicine, modern history of New York City and the Bellevue Hospital will surely find it hard to put this book down. Written by the medical director at the time, it spans his career and focuses on twelve of his most unique and colorful patients. This is very much worth whatever price you want to pay. I see it is in paperback now, so there are options. I loved it.
