To be able to see the beginnings of movies is amazing. It may be crude by today's standards, but the fact that any Kinetophone films/sound even exists is fantastic. If you are a film / sound historian or aficionado, this is an interesting piece to own.

Historical Border History of Scotland

If you have ancestors from Scotland that were Border Riders, this is a good book. I didn't know much about the subject and have learned quite a bit. The book was originally written in 1889 so the facts and stories are closer in time to the author.

Perfect Pegs

These cylinder record cabinet pegs are terrific. Easy to put together and install. This is the 2nd batch that we have gotten. They are sturdy and look fantastic. How many times are the pegs broken or missing from a cabinet? These pegs are a great replacement and do the job. My husband was supposed to do chores around the house, but spent a relaxing time gluing the cardboard tops to the cardboard cylinders. He did find that it was easier to install the tops with a little home-made jig which consisted of a flat piece of wood with a piece of dowel standing up and glued to the center. I would definitely recommend these pegs.
