lovely spinner
A very pretty, unusual spinner, a snowflake. Rates 5 stars in my book, but I gave it a 4 because a lot of people save the highest rating for spinners that spin a long, long time.

Lego checkers set
Put the lego set into a sandwich bag or freezer bag. It's easily stowed and good for travelling. Just find for yourself some extra round reds and blacks in case you lose one. (You know you will.) Every kid should learn checkers. They'll play it as a game of chance, and as they grow older, they'll play it with some strategy in mind.
