Plugable USB 2.0 4-Port High Speed Charging Hub with 12.5W Power Adapter and New

Great little portable hub...
I needed a small, full-powered USB hub that was lightweight and portable for my Outernet project and this one fit the bill perfectly. The C.H.I.P. computer used in the project only has 1 USB port that could not supply sufficient power to both the receiver and it's necessary LNA. I also needed another USB port to send the downloaded data to a micro sd card reader. This hub has plenty of power once plugged into the supplied 5 volt, 2.5 amp wall wart since each port gets a 500 mA supply!

Glad I didn't pay retail!
This monocular although a departure from the old school Image Intensifier Tube genre is, perhaps, not quite ready to be a replacement for 2nd and 3rd Generation. The gain is fair in normal mode and similar to gen1 Russian tubes, but far more sensitive to IR at 805 and 940nm wavelengths. Using the "Sum-Light" mode doubles the sensitivity at the cost of frame rate. So a flicker picture is the result! If you can live with 15 frames/sec in this mode, then you will love this thing and as long as you don't move the scope around too much, it will do the job. It's also goes thru batteries like sh#$% thru a goose so best to have a couple of good sets on hand or better still some NiMh rechargeables! The 1/4-20 tripod mount is in entirely the wrong place to use it with a tripod. Oh...it will mount up just fine but your sight picture will be in "portrait" mode vice "landscape" mode. A right-angle adapter will fix the problem but should have been included for the price of this thing. Not enough "bang-for-the-buck", poor rez even in normal mode, brightness control practically useless due to auto-dim function which cannot be disabled, White dots on screen which Pulsar says are "normal" as long as there's 7 or less of them. I can think of alot of better things to do with $1000 than to waste it on this scope. It works.....OK....but not $1000 worth! Note to Pulsar/Yukon engineers: Go back to the drawing boards on this one, boys....it barely qualifies as Russian gen1+!

Little but roomy
The extra PCB slots inside make for a more versatile enclosure that allows for things like filters and baluns and the end panels are adequate for switches, connectors and controls to be installed.
