Good sea saga

This book covers the merchant raiding cruse of the Admiral Scheer in clouding a good narrative description of her engagement with the Jervis Bay.in a firsthand account, as the book is cowritten by the then captain of the Admiral Scheer. The book was written back in the middle 1950's when most of these people were still alive. It does not cover later periods in the war history of this ship..

This book is a , history , a mystery and a great adventure tale . In only 246 pages the author describes the death of Alexander in Babylon ,the hijacking of his body by Ptolemy and his entombment in Egypt The author then leads the reader on a mystery and a adventure a treasure hunt , down through the ages as the search for the final resting place of Alexander the Great .The author invites the reader to write the last chapter in his own mind . Watch out , shop around for the best price.

One of five in the series written by these authors on the warships of the French navy , all are excellent . I only gave it four stars because of the price book dealers are asking . This book should sell for between $ 25.00 and $35.00 no more so don't be taken in. A New book by these guys on French Armored Cruisers has just come out . kc
