Universally known as a great solution.
Its the famous Tigertronics SignaLink USB. You can't go wrong. My ONLY complaint... $100+ dollars, I want a metal enclosure. the Enclosure is fairly cheap plastic. Its not even Pelican-grade plastic. Its just some typical-ish comsumer-product plastic. Not BAAAAD. But... for the hype and the price and the nostalgia of ham radio... I really wanna see it in metal. AT LEAST GIVE ME A METAL ENCLOSURE UPGRADE OPTION. Still recommend it though. A-. A- is still an A!

4 of 4 found this helpful I don't have much more to say. The TS-2000 is just a fantastic rig. SOOOO much capability. Basic usage is simple to figure out... MANY advanced features are a short manual/Google visit away. TONS of users out there to help you. I have transmitted on the wrong band at 100W more times than I can count and it hasnt blown the finals...! Its just a really nice radio for the price and the features. And Kenwood makes GREAT products!! 73 de K9SPY
