A worthwile upgrade from a 3gs and the best smartphone about
I purchased this phone as an upgrade from my old trusty 3gs.
The 3gs may have been old but it was still able to do the things newer smartphones do, but the camera was weak, it didnt have a torch which is very handy, the battery wasnt great, and at times more demanding apps could cause it to freeze.
The iphone 4s in a tyre cover looks very similar to my old phone, but the screen is much clearer, its a pleasure to read, i read e books on my phone, the 3gs gave me migranes, this doesn't the screen is that much clearer and easier to read.
The camera is superb, even the video function the quality of the video is on par with a camcorder.
Siri is a nice addition, i havent used it much yet, but so far it has worked ok.
The battery life is quite decent, the phone lasts all day, the old 3gs needed a charger with it at all times, this doesn't. Its by no means going to hold its charge as long as a nokia 3310 but it works quite well.
I have had the 3gs for 3 years, i am quite happy with using iOS devices, ive tried some android phones but i prefer the iphone.

A phone for the person looking something simple
My mun needed a new phone after the old phone a flip phone broke in two. one thing was it needed to be simple and it is. very easy to use buttons, big screen, handy menus and a torch. the build quality means it gets called the nut because no matter how many times its dropped it seems to keep going. if you are looking internet connectivity, bluetooth, email, good games, a camera, mp3 player in your phone this is not it. if you want a cheap well made phone that anyone can use then buy this

1 of 1 found this helpful If you want to retain the stock headunit in your Peugeot but want the features a new infotainment has then this is the best device on the market.
I find aftermarket radios can upset the look of a dashboard. On something like the Peugeot 406 which had a uniquely shaped radio an aftermarket one will always look, well aftermarket and not original no matter what adapter plate is used. Some may not mind this but for me, i appreciate originality.
The steering wheel controls or rather stalk controls are retained which is very useful. Track controls or scrubbing is possible, answer calls by pressing the next track button. It integrates seamlessly and invisibly into the car.
One thing worth noting the radio display will not show up any track id information or who is calling. As I have my phone mounted in a vent mount i can see this adequately well.
Sound quality is superb, it pairs well every time.
