Shimano- it's fine, but you shouldn't need it
It's fine, but you shouldn't need it- I was more than a little irritated to find I needed this shim to be able to use the posh Park tool I already had on my fancy new Ultegra BB. The shim itself is fine- it's plastic being used between 2 metal parts, so it's going to get chewed up, but then I guess it would cost more if it was metal and it does what it says on the tin-the real irritation is that is needed at all.

Liking wider tyres!
upgrading from 23mm pro 4's (which I've worn out eventually) and these provide a noticeable improvement in pace for constant effort, and just as important, comfort! Definitely notice the improved ride of a wider tyre!👍👍👍
