Hello and thank you for reading about me. I am retired after 40 years of working. I was then looking for something to do so eventually settled on adding to my comic book collection . I collected again for quite a few years after my retirement in 2013 then branched out my feathers and decided to sell as well as buy to create a balance. Anyway I collect some British comics and my favourites being the Beano, Dandy, Topper, Sparky etc. Those were the ones I loved as a kid and now do as an adult ( or old codger ). With my customer service experience when working with some great people, I do my best now to cherish the community ( family to me ) of comic book collectors whether buying or selling and be involved with those kind of forums. Otherwise I play (haha ) golf, go short runs, enjoy gardening and watch the X-Files ( my favourite ) on TV.

    Countdown # 41 Space Age Comic 27 November 1971 Apollo 15, keetsy checks every comic as he sends them out. I know this because just before he posted this comic to me he mentioned that somebody cut out a small piece from the comic, special offer I think. Immediately told me when he discovered it and automatically took off the right amount of money. Nice comic, full of laughs. This is number 319 from the 368 published by D.C Thomson and Co Ltd. The later ones are more difficult to get for the collector. This is a mini size comic in colour.
