Item as described. Fair price for not waiting 6-8 weeks to get something from China. Adequately packaged. My issue is that the add is misleading in that the seller isn't really in the US.... which means communications take forever and the shipper doesn't actually get the package until several days after the seller reports it as shipped. If you need an item in a hurry you will need to go elsewhere.

If you played the other katamari games before you may get quickly bored by this one. Unless you go online and find some vs action.
The game is essentially the same with added goal of rolling up specific type objects. It is great to roll the ball around for fun for a while.
Highly recommend this game for families. Also, for those who played FPS and RTS all the time, this can be a good refresher from the same shooting and micro-ing routines.

solid gaming system, be sure to account for accessories
solid system with great game library. The games are slightly tend to cater to American/Western taste, a lot of first person shooting and fighting games. The small library of RPG (types that I prefer) are all great titles as well.
The $99.99 wireless network attachment is a disappointment. ($20 bucks would net you a wireless card for PC) If you technically inclined you can try to set it up with a wireless access point that might be cheaper. Also unlike the PS3 which you can attach anything bluetooth (I tried many common BT headset intended for cellphones. and a Dell branded BT keyboard). You have to buy those separately with Xbox 360 (and use a USB keyboard). Those separate accessories can quickly add to the total cost of ownership. That said, I am not saying it's an overpriced system. You can always buy them on discount or used.
One last thing is that if you buy used, you should look for the newer designs that are less prone to heat damage. Look up Falcon or Jasper. They are the code names for a newer design that causes less heat, uses less power, and therefore less prone to failure. Jasper is currently the newest design and sought after on the second hand market. However I don't think Falcon is any bad either. The system I bought off ebay is a Falcon.

Good sound but leaves more to be desired
bought it used for about 60 bucks around may 2010.
It works well as a practice interface. I can't get the sound to come out of my speakers with windows vista and hp dv9700 laptop. I think the issue is with my computer. I made a work around by routing the line out from the back of the unit to one of my amps. That would give me some sound.
The pod farm program includes a lot of amp and effect models. There are many presets but some of them would call for models that are not supported by the program. Why the program won't hide those from view is beyond me, it's quite disappointing to see a certain preset that I wanted to try out just to be told that I either have to pay more for a license or use a different one.
Overall I am satisfied with this as a beginner's equipment. Experienced players would look for something more than this.
