1 of 1 found this helpful My 4 year daughter stood on my tablet less than two months after I bought it. It was too late to get insurance unless I went through protect my bubble which had an excess of £50. So I was really happy to have found this item for under £25. I was a little worried about repairing myself but after watching some videos on you tube I felt a bit more confident. I would recommend taking off the motherboard etc first (one video didn't bother). Also to remove the old screen use a hairdryer liberally in sections to loosen/ melt the glue. It really helps and using this method I was able to remove the old screen in almost one piece (apart from the original crack. Also make sure you remove all the old glue, again with a hair dyer and scraper, before inserting the new one (which comes with sticky back tape). Also seems to have a medium quality screen protector already on the screen (under the protective plastic) which was handy.
All in all a good quality product which arrived quickly and on the day originally stated. Definitely recommend.
