Not fit for purpose!
The first I time tried this product it took about 30 minutes for the device to heat up to an operating temperature and this produced just a slow, small amount of adhesive - which was not hot enough to be effective. I therefore installed new batteries and the result was the same. A total waste of time and money.
The Evolution of Pre-Hospital Emergency Care - Paperback (01 Sep 2017) NEW Baske

Absorbing and interesting
I found this to be an absorbing and informative book, concise and well-written. It charts the development of pre-hospital emergency care chronologically from its very beginning to the present day. Its origins were eclectic but its development coordinated. The concept was obvious to these experienced and intelligent individuals, who never once doubted its success, despite setbacks and scepticism. Their contribution we take for granted nowadays, but nothing like it existed when I began working in the NHS. I was fortunate enough to be a protégé of one of the founders, Dr. Peter Baskett, whose name still resounds amongst hospital and ambulance personnel. This generation of enlightened and resolute individuals have disappeared from the present scene, but have left an enormous legacy which is now well-established and which will continue and expand. I recommend this book to anyone with an interest in this subject - specific knowledge of medical practise is not required, since everything is succinctly explained..
