Good way to increase stock for reasonable price
Good value set considering it contains a loco, three wagons, controller and track. It cost less than just a loco on its own at today's prices.
I wanted to convert the loco to DCC to run on my layout and it comes with an 8-pin DCC socket. There is limited space for the decoder in this loco, but I used a 6-pin decoder and converter, which plugs into the 8-pin socket and is wired to a 6-pin socket (available from Bachmann). The very small 6-pin decoder and converter fit easily into the body and the loco runs fine.
