Upgraded from the 60mm f2.8D lens
1 of 1 found this helpful Upgrade from the 60mm f2.8D lens. This lens as you would expect is a lot bigger and heavier but has the advantage of a silent wave motor and VR.
Focus is fast and quiet and compared to the 60mm lens you don't need to be too close to the subject.I like the balance and feel when used with my full frame D800.Dedicated lenshood is useful.Cant wait for a dry day to use it some more.....

Good product
Works as expected in a D3 so speed not essential with small files.
