Adobe Lightroom 6 for Mac or Windows (1 User)

The software does a good job as long as you have a modern at least i5 processor with 16gb ram and ssd memory. Also a dedicated boot helps to stop conflicts and a separate graphics card is of little use infact it can cause conflict problems. Update 6.12 finally sorted a map module bug. Adobe seem to think it OK to release new software full of bugs and take a couple of years to sort them. If you are lucky they will be sorted before they stop supporting them. Brought LR 6 updated to last supported version 6.14 as this is the last perpetual licence we will be able to get, monthly prescription only from now on. Usual problems of loading the software which took several stressful hrs to sort. The problem occurred when trying to load programme from the supplied disk. In the end loaded lasted version from Adobe site which worked ok. LR 6 does not have dehaze, all other photo software from Adobe does. But do not go to monthly subscription because of this. There are some excellent free dehaze add ons available and are really worth while acquiring. The software is good for raw files and the gps (mapping module) is far more responsive and useful than Photoshop elements 14. But I still use the catalogue module of photoshop 14 for filing and producing albums etc. Also use the removal/replacement tools of PS 14 over LR6. For serious amateur photographers who do not want to pay £10 a month for ever like me get LR 6 whilst it still is available. There are ways around interfacing new camera file formats. At just under £100 (brought when ebay had 20% off offer) for a genuine product which is registered now I am happy and look forward to many years use.
