Hugely overrated - avoid
1 of 3 found this helpful Al Adamson is an acquired taste. Everything about this set is poor. Cost is outrageously high. Image quality is poor (even though it is said to be vastly improved from prior editions) Plots are obviously silly, but silly can be entertaining, which I did not find this to be. Acting is atrocious. Sex and violence are plenty, almost always poor caricatures. People who like this set (and there are many of them) say that this is essential grindhouse cinema. Even within this category I believe this is a poor member (and I am clearly not a grindhouse cinema fan - something I discovered after buying this based on a large number of favorable reviews.) I apologize to the many fans of this set, but have written this to ensure that potential buyers' expectations are set right.
