Are you using it on a Garrard SP-25 by any chance? I think this cartridge was intended for that turntable.

Make sure your cartridge can be mounted with screws from below. If so, this is an excellent headshell that ensures accuracy of tracking.

Good quality, easy to use, very effective.

Analogue good - digital bad.

Works well as a phono preamp. Compact and well constructed. Sadly, the USB digital output is unusable due to high level of artefacts - very audible noise at about 57dB down. If you intend to use this device for transfer to a DAW or other computer storage base, be prepared for a lot of post-production using DSP noise reduction techniques.
