Very limited range
2 of 2 found this helpful Deco work well provided that there are no concrete/black wall between devices. The deco's will not wifi connect through concrete breeze block walls which is very disappointing.
I have 3 deco's in my home which work fairly well because the signals are passing through timber/insulation/plasterboard walls and ceiling.
I bought a fourth deco to pass the signal through to my connected garage but it failed to connect. Tried configuring the deco next to the main unit and then moving it to the adjoining garage but still no luck. My only option now it to run an ethernet connection between the main deco and the one in the garage which is a big inconvenience.
Also no wifi signal can be picked up outside my house, something many older wifi router/modems were capable off.
In short the deco wifi capability is not as powerful as I'd expect, especially for a relatively high priced product.
