Fixed the bugger right up.
This is pretty convenient little kit -- if you got shafted like me; you probably have a lemon GE Refrigerator. Since I didn't catch you in time to recommend a different brand; you're stuck with an inferior piece of junk that you probably paid a premium for. If your refrigerator seems to get over-frosted OR your refrigerator is getting warm (yet the compressor works..) -- buy this and crimp them on. It's a 15 minute job (less if you don't have a 4-year turkey in the freezer..)
If this doesn't work, you're likely going to be back on E-Bay for a new controller board. Those fail too. Tell your friends to not buy a GE 'Fridge if you like 'em. Or recommend a GE if you don't.
