Expensive but essential
The original friction pads became very contaminated with grease from the tow hitch shock absorber. The grease had melted in temperatures of 40C+ when towing in the South of France. Cleaning the pads proved to be unsuccessful leaving no choice but to buy a new set.
Replacing the friction pads is very straightforward as long as you push up the button which indicates the amount of pad wear when removing and replacing the front pad.

Worthwhile purchase
I was refurbishing an old MTB and wanted a wider range of gears. This cassette proved to be just what I needed and, as a bonus, gave me smoother and slicker gear changes.
