Rigid enough if assembled correctly !
The mount is in two parts :- The satnav clamp and the windscreen suction cup holder. The two parts slide together by pushing sideways. The first time I assembled the two parts together, they fell apart again the first time the car turned a corner ! As I was writing this I examined the fitment again and with considerable sideways force, I discovered that the clips on the suction cup holder would finally locate into the ends off the slots and provide a rigid fitment. Thus, I have re-rated my ratings above but feel a note clarifying the assembly force required would have been useful in the packing of the product to avoid my concerns.

Couldn't find them in local shops. They were new and within expiry date.
