Rainbowmate - the only way to clean stairs!
1 of 1 found this helpful I was never able to vacuum the stairs to the second floor of my home very well with my upright vacuum cleaner. The hose was not long enough and it was really impossible to bring the vacuum cleaner up on the stairway without it falling over. Voila! I bought a used Rainbow E series vacuum cleaner in great condition and also got a Rainbowmate mini power head. Following the directions from Rexair, when I want to vacuum the stairway, I remove the dolly from the Rainbow canister and attach the Rainbowmate to the electric hose. When I move up the stairway, I am easily able to set the Rainbow canister on a step and use the Rainbowmate to vacuum the stairs. The Rainbowmate is easy to use once you realize that you have to hold it at the proper angle. The brush roller works well and the suction is sufficient to do a really good job. Now the carpeting looks practically new. I used to dread trying to clean the stairway, but not any more! Thanks, Rexair!

Rainbow vacuum cleaner - the only way to clean your home!
2 of 2 found this helpful I needed to get a new vacuum cleaner because the upright I had was a disappointment. The hose kept ripping and the canister spewed debris all over the place when I emptied it. I also have a family member who has serious respiratory problems and wanted something that would not aggravate health issues. I had read the reviews, both good and bad, about Rainbow vacuum cleaners, but liked the idea of a vacuum with a water filter. I was able to buy a Rainbow E series one speed on Ebay with most of the attachments. The price I paid was very reasonable. The machine and attachments were in excellent condition, and I was delighted with the results. It has powerful suction and smells very clean when I am using it. And what a joy to empty the water basin without polluting the indoor environment with more dust! The canister and attachments are beautifully made and look like they will last a very long time. And the hoses appear to be reinforced with wire, so ripping should not be a problem. Great made-in-America quality! After use, the water basin must be cleaned out and dried and the separator should be cleaned. These tasks take all of 5 minutes at the most. One of the best appliances I have ever purchased for my home!

Eureka belts for Hoover
Could not find any belts for my old Hoover model 28 upright vacuum cleaner and read online that these Eureka belts would work fine. They did!
