Tested
I tried a lot of brand to heal my tattoos. First the dermalize, second the EZ tattoo dermdefender, and finally this. The dermalize glue is medium, can peel of from itself easy. I has to fix the corners with transpore or leukofix. And after it can be there more time.
When i tried the EZ tattoo derm defender, it peels off from itself after 15-30 mins. I do not recommend. When the EZ there is a little bit more, usually will be allergic reaction from the glue. So this is the worst tested foil ever.
Finally : i bought the suprasorb f. It can be on your skin for 5 days and your tattoo will be almost healed. The glue is strong and you dont have to fix the corners.
My healing method for the bigger tattos:
Day 1: when the tattoo is ready i clean it, and wait 10 mins. After i use the tattoo finish from the inkness. I wait to dry. I repeat it 4-5 times. (spray-dry-spray-dry etc)
I apply a simple foil, and i ask the client, to come back tomorrow.
Day:After 24 hours, i can apply the suprasorb. I have to clean the tattoo. First i using antibacterial foam, to clean it. After i disinfect the wound with octenisept spray.
When it drys, i clean the skin next to the tattoo from sweat and fat with clarasept derm. Important :you have to clean it very well. If not, the foil wont be stick on the skin.
I have to wait about 30-60 mins and i can apply the suprasorb f.
Day 3 :do nothing
Day 4 :do nothing
Day 5 :do nothing
Day 6 :do nothing
Day 7 : the client can peel off the foil, and the tattoo healed 90%.
You have to cream your tattoos with bepanthen and soon totally healed.
