Cheap and Nasty
1 of 1 found this helpful This item will not hold a large reflector, it is too flimsy to hold any real weight, especially if you extend the boom sections.
As it was advertised as a 175cm holder I tried one of my 150cm reflectors and it almost collapsed. All of the joints flexed and bent to the point I was fearful of it falling apart.
If I have to be honest, I would not use this for anything larger than a 50cm reflector.
The build quality feels cheap and the clamp for the boom does not seem to fit the diameter of the pole correctly.
The clamps for holding the reflector are adequate (for small reflectors) but a bit fiddly to use with one hand holding the reflector.
Conclusion: It is what it is, a cheap and nasty product that will not stand up to any serious use, but okay for small hobbyists. I would not recommend this product to anyone who is wanting to use it for it's advertised large capacity, it just wont do the job and will likely break very quickly.
