Very unhappy!
4 of 5 found this helpful We have been a metal detecting family for years, so are not inexperienced with detectors. Our young grandson has been asking for one of his own and we thought this would be a good one to start him out on. Yes, it is a lower end one, and we did not expect miracles, but we can put metal right under this product, and it will not be picked up. I don't know if it is a widespread problem with this particular detector, or this one just happens to be defective, but BEWARE!
