Needs fettling, but excellent product
This item does not fit the Discovery 1 200 TDi engine, so a bit of exchanging had to go on which was undertaken extremely efficiently. The part number for the Disco is ERR 751.
This is a pattern part which fits fine unless you are using the special Land Rover tool, LST 127. This has four large teeth that lock into the slots on the damper, allowing the very tight pulley bolt to be undone and indeed, torqued up.
Sadly, the pattern part slots are a little smaller than the OEM unit, so some time must be spend with a Dremel type tool to grind them out a bit bigger to allow the tool to fit. While this is irritating, it fades into insignificance when one learns that the OEM unit costs over £600 before VAT.
This is an excellent value, well made part. Just budget in an extra hour to grind the slots if you are using the LR tool.

Largely incomprehensible
1 of 4 found this helpful I am under halfway through this book and it is a real struggle. The whole thing introduces random people at random times who appear to have virtually nothing to do with each other and come and go for no apparent reason.
I will finish it, but very much doubt I will ever understand what is going on. I am sure on one intellectual plane, this book would attract rave reviews. As far as I am concerned, it is a collection of words with no narrative to glue the thing together.

The St. Trinians Collection
This is a four box set of the origianl St Trinian's films, the first three of which are in black and white.
The first film featured Alistair Sim as Miss Fritton and her bookmaker brother, much like the recent version, but unlike the new film, the original pitted the 4th form against the 6th form. The second film had Alistair Sim playing only a very short role which was sad and the story line was weak. The third film had a stronger plot but George Cole apart, whose Flash Harry character developed throughout the series, there lacked any really memorable performances.
The last film in the series was in colour but despite a promising plot, had become more slapstick than surreal which is a pity.
As a piece of fun nostalgia, a worthwhile buy but do not expect to cureld up in mirth.
